PPN 06/21 Compliance Statement

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with the guidance and technical standard set out in Procurement Policy Note (PPN) 06/21. It demonstrates our commitment to achieving Net Zero by 2040, ahead of the UK Government’s 2050 target, and includes our baseline emissions, current emissions reporting, carbon reduction targets, initiatives, and a formal declaration, in line with the required format.

1. Commitment to Achieving Net Zero

NeurophysCare LTD is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions across Scope 1, Scope 2, and relevant Scope 3 emissions by 2040, ahead of the UK Government’s 2050 target.

2. Baseline Emissions Footprint

As a newly established company, this is our baseline reporting year. Future emissions will be measured against this baseline.

3. Current Carbon Reduction Measures

We have already implemented the following initiatives to minimise our carbon footprint:

• Remote-first operating model: All employees work from home, eliminating emissions from commuting and office energy use.
• Electric vehicle fleet: All business-related travel is undertaken using electric vehicles (EVs).
• Paperless operations: Internal and external processes are digital by default.
• Cloud-based infrastructure: Hosted on providers committed to renewable energy (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud with 100% renewable energy goals).
• Green energy tariffs: Staff are encouraged to use 100% renewable home electricity suppliers.

4. Planned Carbon Reduction Measures

As part of our ongoing journey toward Net Zero, we intend to explore and implement a range of initiatives aimed at reducing our environmental impact. These may include:

• Developing guidance to support more sustainable remote working practices, including potential incentives for energy efficiency.
• Continuing to prioritise low-emission transport options for business-related travel.
• Promoting virtual collaboration to minimize travel, with in-person engagements reserved for key occasions.
• Strengthening our relationships with suppliers and partners who demonstrate a commitment to sustainability.
• Introducing regular environmental impact assessments, with consideration given to offsetting unavoidable emissions in the future.

5. Carbon Reduction Targets

We aim to reduce our total greenhouse gas emissions as follows:

6. Declaration and Approval

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and approved by our leadership team. It will be reviewed annually and updated as our operations scale and new carbon-saving opportunities emerge.
